Blueberry + LingonBerry + Wheat Grass + Matcha

Wheat Grass?
Some experts claim that wheatgrass contains over 100 different elements needed by man. One of the most noticeable (and important) nutrients in wheatgrass is chlorophyll. Chlorophyll is the substance that gives wheatgrass its signature, bright green color. Like other nutrient-dense greens, it’s used in the human body for a number of important processes: It’s a natural liver cleanser and detoxifier, acts like an antioxidant to reduce free radical damage, is a blood strengthener and can help give you a boost in energy.
Blueberries?
Because they contain such a high amount of phenols, particularly gallic acid, blueberries are known as “neuro-protective agents.” According to researchers from Iran, this means that they can literally protect our brains from degeneration, neurotoxicity and oxidative stress. Clinical studies have even discovered that, unlike radiation and chemotherapy strategies, gallic acid-rich foods like blueberries can kill cancer without harming healthy cells!
Lingonberries?
The lingonberry or Vaccinium vitis-idaea is a delicious semi sour little fruit that belongs to the same family as the blueberry and cranberry. The perennial plant from which the berries grow is native to the arctic and subarctic regions. Like their better-known berry cousins, lingonberries do not just tastes great but they also pack a healthy punch. They have been declared in some places as a new ‘super food’ and are becoming increasingly popular in a number of fat busting diets.
Matcha?
One of the major health benefits of matcha is that it delivers a mega dose of antioxidants. According to the latest innovation in antioxidant research, matcha is packed with exponentially more antioxidants than any other ‘superfood’. Matcha contains a healthy and unique form of caffeine known as theophylline sustains the energy levels without any adverse effects. The slow release of energy due to theophylline helps in supporting the functionality of adrenal glands and maintains optimum hormonal levels. Matcha also contains L-theanine, an amino acid known to relax the mind. For this reason, matcha is also known as a mood enhancer. Amino acids are also what gives matcha is distinctive taste. They contribute to what is known as the fifth taste, or umami, characterized by a rich creamy mouth feel.
